These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the pokemon3d.net website (the “Website”), operated as a volunteer community project for Pokémon 3D.
The pokemon3d.net domain is owned and operated by Kilobyte AS. The Website and related community services are maintained by the Pokémon 3D Team and volunteers.
These Terms are effective as of 1 August 2021 and were last updated on 23 July 2026.
By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.
The open-source licence for the Pokémon 3D game itself is available in the LICENSE file in the game repository. These Terms cover the Website, not the game licence.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Website. If you are under 13, you must not create an account or use the service.
Accounts
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate registration and profile information
- keeping your login credentials confidential
- activity that occurs under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for the community, or are used in a misleading or abusive way.
Your Content
“Your Content” means material you upload, post, or otherwise make available on the Website, including profile information, skins, resources, server listings, comments, and similar content.
You retain ownership of Your Content. By submitting it, you grant pokemon3d.net and the project maintainers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Website and community services.
Your Content must be material you have the right to share, and must not infringe anyone else’s rights. We may remove Your Content at any time if we believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or community standards.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Website in any unlawful, harmful, or abusive way
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Website or other users’ access
- scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Website by automated means, except where expressly permitted (for example through public APIs we provide)
- impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- upload malware or otherwise compromise security
- use the Website for unsolicited advertising or spam
- upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, or clearly inappropriate for a community that includes younger users aged 13 and above
We may restrict access to parts of the Website at our discretion.
Intellectual Property
Except for Your Content and open-source materials published under their own licences, the Website materials are owned by pokemon3d.net, its licensors, or the relevant rights holders.
You may view and use the Website for personal, non-commercial community use. Open-source components remain available under their respective licences, including the game and website source code published on GitHub.
Pokémon 3D is a fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., or GAME FREAK Inc. Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

No Warranties
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Nothing on the Website should be treated as professional advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, pokemon3d.net, Kilobyte AS, and the volunteers and maintainers involved in the project shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify pokemon3d.net, Kilobyte AS, and the project maintainers against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the “last updated” date. Continued use of the Website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we may also ask you to accept the updated Terms again.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies we link from the Website, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Website.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
